Valve fitting designations include, but are not limited to, the following:

Valve Body. As one of the main components of the valve, it is used to hold the other parts of the valve in place and to support the valve flap and seal.
Valve stem. A component that connects the valve flap to the manual mechanism, the quality of which directly affects the sealing performance of the valve.
Valve seat. A gasket inside the valve, used for sealing, the specific shape varies with the valve structure.
Valve plate. Valve seals, generally composed of valve flap and valve seat, due to the different working media, the shape of the valve plate is also different.

Lining. For special fluids and applications, the lining plays a key role and is usually made of materials such as PTFE and hard rubber.
